I heard that most of Welt Meister(WM) a.k.a World Cup viewers around the globe especially at the East relieve that it was over… so they can have their good night sleep again…
But for us here in Germany….it was a sad moment…For the past one month, we were looking forward every evenings for the matches which also gave us reasons to enjoy our sweaty summer outside….and get to know people…
Why I said get to know people? ..coz, most German seems to be extremely friendly during that time…hmm…I guess they took the WM slogan seriously…”Time to make friend”
For the final day of WM, 3 families in Cologne watched the final match together while BBQing. It was raining at 16hr but luckily around 18hr the weather was getting nicer and we managed to set the fire and play poison ball before the game started at 20hr. It was still sunny at that time though….
