Luxembourg is a parliamentary representative democracy with a constitutional monarchy, ruled by a Grand Duke. It is the world's only sovereign Grand Duchy.
What is Grand Duchy??
~ ~ A grand duchy is a territory whose head of state is a Grand Duke or Grand Duchess. Grand Duke is of a protocolary rank below King but higher than a sovereign Duke or Prince.
We went to Luxembourg straight from Paris…spent a night there, then head on to Belgium.
