We've been living in Cologne for more than a year now but we never actually visit the "Dome", the most famous landmark of Cologne.
When we received some guests from France and they wanted to climb the tower, hey, we took the challenge...tapi...alahai ponatnya...nyosal den ikut!!...
We have to climb 509 steps (read: 509!!) before arriving at a 97.25m height observation platform at the bottom of the Southern spire.
With the medieval spiral staircase style and very limited space as well as oxygen, almost make us suffocated (thee..thee...I'm talking about myself actually...)
When we finally reached the first door where the giant bells are...I was surrendered...but Baba "dragged" me up to the highest point...and sincerely, I'm kinda appreciate of what he did...coz it was worth it...the satisfaction is on everyone's face...including Amsyar...509 steps...
